Merryhill’s Cornerway’s Residential is a Dementia Care registered care home and we have carers within our care home who are specifically trained to care for our elderly residents with Dementia.
All our carers make it their mission to get to know our residents living with dementia on a personal level so that they can support their individual needs, encourage positive recollection of historical events and moments, retain their hobbies and interests, and create a safe environment for them.
Our resident carers are conscious that people living with Dementia will need more care and support as symptoms can get worse over time, therefore our care team is available 24/7 365 days to deliver immediate care and support to all our residents living with Dementia.
Residents living with Dementia
We currently support our residents who live with Dementia by providing them with Dementia-friendly activities and day trips to stimulate and improve their mental and physical wellbeing and ensure a healthy home environment where they can experience home comforts, joy and live contently.
If you or a loved one or friend has symptoms or a Dementia diagnosis and are deciding if Cornerways Residential is the right place for you, we encourage you to take the next step by contacting us, first to find out if we have a residential care placement available and second to book an appointment to come and see for yourself our residential care home along with the facilities, residents, staff and carers so that you can decide if it’s best for you or for someone else on behalf of their best interest.
