About Cornerways

Cornerways Residential Care Home is based in the picturesque seaside resort of Hythe and has successfully been operating for over 20 years maintaining our principles. It is a 20 bedded residential home looking after the elderly and those with Dementia and has built up a very strong reputation in the local area for looking after its residents to the highest standards of care.

Located in the centre of the peaceful coastal market town of Hythe right next to the High street and literally, just 5 minutes walk from the sea you would be hard-pressed to find a better location for your loved ones in terms of proximity to all amenities and accessibility to transport links. This makes it extremely easy for our residents to pop to the shops if they wanted or to have a stroll by the beach, and also just as easy for their families to get to them when visiting.

Hythe is a peaceful market town under 5 miles from Folkestone with a relaxed and leisurely feel to it that encapsulates what retiring is all about, friendly good people, lots of restaurants, pubs and shops with clean fresh air from its beachside location, steeped with history and beauty, with the warmest climate in the UK, what better location would you want to spend your most precious and important years in.

Our Manager is Kayleigh Mount who shares our vision and dedication to our elders. Kayleigh has a vast professional background in care to an excellent standard. She directs care in a highly individual way in close collaboration with residents ensuring their views are embedded throughout our service and is highly responsive to changes and challenges within the home. Kayleigh is highly visible and accessible to all and leads by example to achieve high standards in care in a compassionate manner.

Please read our Questions and Answers session with Kayleigh Mount in ourĀ Meet The Manager article.
